One Direction may have only come third in this weekend’s X Factorfinal but the big story for their fans is all about their love lives.
Last week it was rumoured Harry Styles had the hots for Frankie Sandford from girl group The Saturdays, and now it appears that all along Zayn Malik has been having a secret romance with Geneva Lane from Belle Amie.
The pair were pictured getting cosy in front of friends and other contestants after the show and even shared a romantic kiss.
The Daily Mail reported that as they left the studios the pair kissed and held hands in front of photographers.
However Zayn was quick to dismiss the rumours via his twitter page saying: “’Hey fans, just thought I’d let u guys know don’t believe the hype we’re just friends and that was a friendly kiss.” He added: “If yu want all my fans can have a friendly kiss.”
Despite the three year age gap between the 17 year old boy band pin up and Geneva the pair seemed unconcerned by the prying eyes of photographers.
He seemed to have changed his tune a few hours later when he tweeted: “Listen fans i still love yuu all dont be jelous and hate on @genevalane were together whether yuu hate or not …”
This came after he declared his love for the singer via the microblogging site: “I love yu @genevalane”
Both groups were created by the X Factor bosses after bootcamp when the judges revealed they felt that the singers were talented but would achieve more success as groups rather than solo singers.
One Direction and Belle Amie have both said they will remain together now that the show is over in the hopes of carving out a successful music career.
Belle Amie were booted off the show during the Halloween special and rumours have been flying about in fighting, with some reports suggesting that the girls had a violent fight during the X Factor Final rehearsals.

Leaving me Hanging
I never thought that this will happen, I already promised not to fall for someone whom i know will leave me hanging. But i guess this is just how to be so in love.
I just don’t understand, why he was leaving when the time i fell for him so badly. I’m not expecting that i can feel pain, what a funny aching heart i had. I really can’t express what i truly feel, words just can’t say exactly, but
I loved him! :( but i can’t spend my life standing by and waiting for him.
